Not my favorite, but a very good book

There are far to many books that I am in love with to choose just one, so I will go with my most recent. I am currently reading Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen and have enjoyed it so far. This is a well known book by this author and I chose well because it is an amazing piece of literature. It follows Elizabeth Bennett, a girl in a large family who has five sisters, this includes Jane the oldest. Mr. Bingley moves into the area and Jane and Mr. Bingley get along very well. Along with Mr. Bingley comes Mr. Darcy who is a quiet and prideful man that very often comes across rude and arrogant. Unbeknownst to Elizabeth, Mr. Darcy has been taken by her. Conflict ensues and it is a wonderful story.
I chose the book because I had heard of the author and it was from a time period that I enjoyed. Jane Austen uses a very precise writing style that is refreshing. She tells it how it is and her characters never disappoint. This is a time period where women are supposed to be poised and gracious, but she does not follow this mold. She lets her characters be free and lively while still being lady like. It brings a different point of view coming from somebody like Elizabeth, who is from and abnormal family and is not the average woman.
